This is an event with guest speaker Stephen Burrell who is an assistant professor a Durham University. We are very excited to announce that James Gallen will be joining us this Friday at 4pm on Zoom to discuss the Mother & Baby Homes archive. The DCU Amnesty society were shocked and horrified by the latest news regarding the archive & want to seek justice for the women and children affected by the sealing of the files. James Gallen is a lecturer at the School of Law and Government in DCU & was appointed to assist the Commission on Mother and Baby Homes. He will discuss the events that have taken place to date & the ongoing work surrounding the archives. He will also take part in a q&a session and discuss the actions that activists can take.
