Holi Night, also known as Holika Dahan, marks the beginning of the vibrant two-day Holi Festival, one of India's most joyful and culturally rich celebrations. While the iconic color-throwing festivities take place the following day (Dhulandi or Rangwali Holi), Holi Night is centered around traditions, bonfires, and fostering a sense of community, symbolizing the triumph of good over evil. To honor this cherished festival, we, as a committee, are proud to host Holi Night, representing DCU in a positive light. This event invites everyone to come together, socialize, and embrace the true spirit of Holi in a warm and festive atmosphere.

About Indian Society

Namaste, Namaskaram, Vanakkam, Salaam Alaikum, Ayubowan,

Indian Society is open to people of all ethnicities to learn more about the one of the most ethnically diverse nations in the world. We welcome everyone to celebrate and indulge in the rich cultures of South Asia.

We provide a platform for students in DCU to experience a range of social, cultural and educational events including games nights, movie nights, holi and our biggest annual event - Diwali.
