About BAME Law & Government Society

Est. 2025

BAME is dedicated to promoting the future of diverse representation and students of colour studying law or politics, or anyone who is eager to learn. We are determined to highlight the voices of the underrepresented, believe in power through education, and advocating for systematic change!

BAME is the perfect discussion platform for those with an interest in exploring how race, ethnicity, and culture intersect with jurisdictions and governments around the world . Our society hold events and student-led activities that raise awareness of international and domestic affairs, as well as inviting guest speakers for panel discussions. We also offer guidance to law/politics students on navigating the 3 branches of government (legislative, judiciary, executive) to help foster confidence and development in their desired field.

Don't worry, we hold movie and game nights too... but most importantly, our monthly potluck event!

BAME is always happy to welcome everyone with open arms as we strive to provide an inclusive and safe environment for all ethnicities from all walks of life.
