Sweet Treat Meet
Starts:
Fri 10th Oct at 12:00
Ends:
at 14:00
Cost:
FREE
 Max:
40
IN-PERSON
Event
Location: E401 (St patrick's campus)

A treat trading event where people bring in treats that they've made themselves or that they've bought and can come get a nice snack! Although the event is called "sweet treat meet", we encourage everyone to bring all kinds of foods! This is hopefully something to get our members chatting with each other and bonding over the food they made/bought/are eating. (We also hope this attracts a few more members to our society, because who doesn't love a nice sweet treat!)

About Slinky Society

Feeling a bit disconnected in the bustling halls of DCU?

Introducing the DCU Slinky Society!

We're not just a society; we're a vibrant community built on wanting to make friends and feel connected. In a world that can sometimes feel overwhelmingly large, the Slinky Society offers a warm, welcoming embrace.

What We Offer:

  • Genuine Connections: Forget acquaintances. We foster an environment where authentic friendships can blossom. Our events are designed to spark conversations and build lasting bonds.
  • Inclusive Atmosphere: Whether you're an introvert finding your voice or an extrovert looking for more kindred spirits, you'll find your place here. We celebrate diversity and welcome everyone with open arms.
  • Fun & Engaging Events: From relaxed coffee meetups and board game nights to creative workshops and outdoor adventures, we curate a diverse calendar of activities that cater to a wide range of interests. There's always something new to explore and enjoy together!
  • A Sense of Belonging: We understand that university life can be a rollercoaster. The Slinky Society is your anchor, a place where you can share your experiences, find support, and celebrate your successes.
  • Skill Sharing & Learning: Many of our members have unique talents and hobbies. We encourage sharing these skills, creating opportunities for collaborative projects and mutual learning.

Imagine a space where you can be yourself, laugh freely, and build a support network that extends beyond the classroom. That's the Slinky Society. We believe that the best university experiences are shared, and we're dedicated to making your time at DCU as fulfilling and connected as possible.

Let's play with slinkies together!
