Students will be encouraged to bring their coursework, notes, or group projects and make use of the quiet, structured setting to prepare for upcoming assessments or complete assignments. Light refreshments (such as coffee, energy drinks and snacks) as well as  short breaks may be offered to maintain concentration and well-being throughout the session (background music may be played to encourage concentration if required). The main aim is to allow students to lock in and support them n a productive academic environment.

About Women in STEM Society

⋆ ˚。⋆୨୧˚────── Welcome to DCU Women In STEM ──────˚୨୧⋆。˚ ⋆

We set up with the mission of providing a space for women who study in STEM fields to socialise and connect with each other. We do this by hosting fun social events throughout the year, such as quiz nights, costume parties and escape rooms!

Along with our social events, we plan to run STEM projects open to everyone, including engineering and science workshops. We also plan to host talks and networking events in order to further the careers of our members.

We hope to see you at one of our events soon ♥
