Join Us for a Bake Sale on the Steps of the U Building!

Craving something sweet? Stop by our bake sale on the steps of the U Building next Thursday at 11 for a delicious assortment of homemade treats! From cookies and brownies to cupcakes and muffins, we have something for everyone. Whether you're looking for a quick snack or something to share with friends, you won't want to miss this tasty event. All proceeds will go towards our Ballymunch social project where we teach parents to cook healthy meals for their kids! Come satisfy your sweet tooth and support a great cause. We hope to see you there!

RAG Takes Edinburgh. Members of the society will travel to Edinburgh. We will be volunteering with the British Heart Foundation and taking in some of the local sight and taking part in activities such as an escape room and mini golf.

This is a disco event in the Venue, the ticket price will be 7 euro. We will run a cloakroom and a raffle. Event Plans and Risk Assessment have also been submitted by the SURisk Assessment RAG Glows

Hangover Hub with Sober Soc, Free Pizza and Games for everyone. Donations will be collected. Takes place after the underwear mile

We will run a blitz with all the kids that have taken part in gogaga. We will have plenty of volunteers to help organise the games.

Welcome back music event in Nubar. We will have a DJ and Photobooth. We will run a cloakroom for the event.

Social Project Information Evening run by Social Projects Manager Zusanna Rusin. All social project will be discussed. Opportunities to volunteer are available.

This is our first event of the semester. The event is on the theme of shaking off the holiday blues. They event will include tea, coffee and treats. There will also be music and games. The event will be lead up the chairperson Laura Louise and supported by committee members.

Harry Styles Night in aid of Respond. We will follow a similar format to to ABBA Night. Music will start at 8pm. We will be launching our Christmas Fund for Respond Christmas presents.

Bake Sale in aid of Ballymunch. The money raised will go to our social project Ballymunch. Committee members will set up at 11:45 and tidy up at 2pm.

RAG Rumble Risk Assesment

This event is a white collar boxing match in aid of charity. Boxers have been training for six weeks under the supervison of a professional coach. Money will be raised on the night to for a charity to be chosen by the fighters. Money will be raised using a Raffle and Bucket collecting.

Selling and promoting RAG Rumble Tickets on the street. Committee members and some of the fighters will be present. A short event plan meeting will take place after.

Fundraiser for Respond to raise funds for Christmas presents for the kids in Respond Emergency Housing.

Our goal is to raise €500 which will be used to buy the Santa presents for the kids in Respond's Santa Letters.

We want to make Christmas the best it can be for the kids.

Alumni Night for all past members to come and celebrate our 10th anniversary with us

We will be having a quiz all about rag and show casing our reeling in the years or rather RAGGing in the years video.

Event to raise awareness and funds for Chime - one of Ireland's leading charities supporting deaf people.

An Alumni member will be speaking about her experience as she is deaf herself before we learn some basic ISL.

Perfect for anyone interested in learning more and for teachers to learn a new skill for their CV.

EGM to meet our committee and new members of the year!

Loads of positions to run for to be a part of the committee - GDO, Secretary, Events team, Social projects team, Pat's rep and 2 first-year reps!!!

Students will show up for an evening scavenger hunt around the GLA campus - aiding them in getting to know the place a bit better and making new friends.

Students will follow a set of clues around the campus to make up a word or phrase and then return to the committee for a prize once completed. Set up on the event will include lay out clues the day of around the campus which will all be taken down after the event. Clues will be posted on tables in the U, sports complex, accommodation reception and lecture buildings. Clues will be poster-like paper which will be easily taken down afterwards.

Prizes will include (not confirmed) sweets, vouchers

So excited to be hosting our very first event with DCU SVP where we’ll be writing letters for residents of nursing homes. It’s a tough time for everyone at the moment, but especially the older generations who are limited in seeing their loved ones. So join us this Tuesday in sending letters of hope and reassurance to those who need it most ???

This Wednesday the 18th @ 7:30 pm we have the return of our RAGathon, an evening that allows you to create your very own event !!!

This Wednesday is the last chance to show us what amazing ideas you can come up with and we will help the winning idea bring their event to life!

We here at RAG are happy to announce that we are officially starting our RAGathon event on the 4th of November at 7.30pm!!

Join us on a journey where we will be giving YOU the opportunity to create your own event all in aid of a chosen charity! RAGathon will run every fortnight starting this Wednesday the 4th of November. You will be working in groups, so bring your friends, drag them all along !! ?????

Together with the help of the RAG team you will plan an entire event which will run at the beginning of Semester 2!! RAGathon is a collaborative event where we want you to interact with us and throughout the 4 sessions work with us to create an incredible event! This event is open to anyone and everyone, so feel free to tag along and share with us your most spectacular ideas! After all, we are here to volunteer and give back to society!!

If raising and giving is your thing this is YOUR opportunity to get involved. Let the creative streak in you shine and bring along some of the best ideas you have!??

Don't miss our next event RAG REWORKS, a mask-making workshop with the phenomenal @_loveloux Wednesday the 28th of October @ 7:00 pm!!

Join Louise as she will give you lovely people a step-by-step tutorial on mask-making, with the level 5 restrictions you know we'll need it!!

She will also be offering some excellent upselling tips for your clothes to turn them into new fashionable trends, putting your clothes in new lights!

For the event, participants will need :

*an old shirt/similar material 

*needle and a thread

*skinny elastic (optional)
