On the 13th/14th of April 2024, D&D Soc will be hosting a 24-Hour Charity Livestream in aid of Fighting Words. The game will consist of 4 acts with each group playing 4-5 hour stints to form one cohesive story over 24 hours. There will be three 1.5 hour gaps between these segments where we will host giveaways, videos from our players and interviews with representatives from Fighting Words, all in an effort to raise money for charity. Hopefully with this funding, we will be able to help Fighting Words teach creative writing to young people in Ireland.

A oneshot game in collaboration with DCU Creative Writing Soc!

This is a beginners game open to all new players, as well as veteran D&D nerds. Pizza will be provided!

The event is running from 6-10pm in XG14, on Glasnevin campus.

This is a dungeons and dragons player vs player double elimination bracket tournament between DCU and Maynooth university.

A Dungeons and Dragons one shot event for paddy's day, where players will participate in a St. Patricks day themed Dungeons and Dragons game

Christmas-themed Dungeons and Dragons oneshot, held in XG14 from 6 p.m.–10 p.m. Pizza will be provided at the event!

Dungeons and Dragons themed bake sale done in the style of a pop-up tavern, with goods donated by members and committees alike. Held in The Street in the U from 12pm - 2pm on Tuesday the 29th of November. All proceeds going to charity.

It is final week of the semester, exams are just around the corner and due to that we won't be having any Westmarches this week. But, we do have a fun little hangout event planned with not just one...but TWO RAFFLES! We will have two dice sets up for grabs, each picked to fit the theme of this years Westmarches setting. To get a ticket, all you have to do is pay the event fee and you'll be in for a chance to win one of these mystical sets!

That's right, this week in D&D's Soc, there is a DM's Workshop for all of our aspiring Dungeon Masters where some of our veteran DMs will go through the basics of being a Dungeon Masters, their own style of DMing and some pointers on how to have a good time DMing a game. If you are interested in becoming a DM for the society or just for your own home game, I encourage you to come along on Tuesday 19th, at 6pm to our discord server where the event will be held.

That's right, our next event will be a Beginner's One Shot, a level-1 One-Shot for our new players to test out their new characters and dive a bit more into the game that is D&D!

Adventurers!! It is that time of year again, the annual BRAWLHALLA EVENT!! 6 WRESTLERS WILL DUKE IT OUT IN AN ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCH TO WIN THE TITLE OF BRAWLHALLA CHAMPION!!! This is a showcase event where the audience can also participate in the event, changing the tide of battle throughout the night!

This event shall occur over on our discord server on Wednesday 29th at 6pm!! All of the necessary rules and info on the event are all displayed on our discord server!

Ladies and Gentlemen, this Monday (30th of November) we are having an intersoc event with some of our international friends over in ESN or the Erasmus students to be exact.

The invitation details that he is retiring from his days of adventure and is willing to give up his mass amounts of treasure to the first group of adventurers that arrives at his majestic tower. Hi everyone,

Yes you heard right, next Tuesday we will be holding an EGM as our wonderful Equipment's Officer had to step down from their position. As members of the society you all have the right to vote and, if you wish to, run for this position. The event will be held over on our discord as usual around 6pm.

The night of All Hallow's Eve draws near, ladies and gentlemen, a night where we all get dressed up and have a bit of fun being our favourite creatures of the night. During this eventful night, werewolves, vampires, witches, skeletons and many more spooky creatures return to the land of the living to bring untold chaos! And what better way to help them than your favourite Dungeons & Dragon Society.

That's right, to celebrate All Hallow's Eve, we will be holding a spooky scary one shot adventure for you all! This one shot will be set for 3rd level characters, which means ye will have more abilities to play with this time! But hold on? You did not have the time to make a spooky character? That's not a problem, the committee has you covered. We have pre-made character sheets that you can use.
