The aim of this event is to give our contributors and students of DCU who may be interested in writing for Her Campus, an opportunity to learn about the process of writing articles while also upskilling on what they already know. The event also gives students an insight into the society which may prompt them to start writing for us. The hosts will give the attendees great insight into various aspects that go into writing, such as plagiarism, pitches, and a number of other skills that will help, and stand to any student that may be considering doing journalism after college. the hosts will begin with a short introduction of themselves, followed by a brief talk about her campus and what aim to do. The hosts will then go into the main aim of the event which as I have stated is to give writers the opportunity to improve their article writing ability. the attendees will then be able to ask any questions relating to the workshop.

Our theme this month is self-acceptance, and what better way to celebrate our wonderful selves by doing some pilates with friends, all in aid of Body Whys.
BodyWhys is the national voluntary organisation supporting people affected by eating disorders. Their mission is to ensure support, awareness and understanding of eating disorders amongst the wider community as well as advocating for the rights and healthcare needs of people affected by eating disorders.
Jennifer Hickey will take Her Campus DCU through a challenging, but enjoyable pilates class. Jennifer has been teaching pilates for 20 years, and just happens to be one of the most qualified pilates teachers in Ireland.
Her Campus at DCU is so excited to welcome Jennifer and get moving, and most importantly raise money for BodyWhys!
Donating is optional, but we really encourage you to donate to such a worthy cause.
